ROAD BIKE HIRE/DEMO FAQ’s

​

How to book :  All bikes need to be booked in advance via the website a minimum of 18hrs before your preferred booking time.  We do accept walk ups and bookings on the day subject to availability.

​

What to Bring:

Helmet No helmet no ride.  We recommend you bring your own helmet but we can supply if necessary at no extra cost.

​

Identification It is mandatory for all riders to leave some form of photo ID with us whilst out riding.  No ID no ride. ( driving license preferred ) 

​

Appropriate Clothing Please check the weather and bring clothing suitable for the day and type of riding

 

Water Bottle  Please bring your own water bottle to remain hydrated on the ride.

​

Pedals: We can supply and fit bikes with flat pedals, Shimano SPD SL, SPD MTB or Look Keo pedals.  If you require different pedals please bring these with you. We can fit your own pedals without a problem.  

​

If I buy the road bike after hire do I get a refund on my hire?  Yes, if you buy the bike you have hired through us your hire fee will be refunded.

HYBRID BIKE HIRE FAQ's

​

What is provided with a hire bike?

We’ll provide you with a helmet, a lock, a route map and a number to call in case of problems.

​

What happens if something goes wrong?

We’ll give you a number you can call if anything goes wrong. If necessary we’ll come out to repair a bike or to pick you up. A pick up will normally incur a £15 charge.

​

Can I rent a bike for longer than a day?

Yes, we can rent bikes for any period you like, just contact us for a quote

​

How fit do I need to be?

We have a variety of routes that can be chosen depending on the fitness levels of the group

​

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes and flat soled, enclosed shoes. We will provide you with a helmet if you require one.
